In addition to (or instead of) adding text to the image, you may overlay a custom logo.
its position may be specified manually or you may drag it to the desired location.
A positive depth-value places the logo in front of the screen and a negative value behind it.
Note however, that in most cases placing the logo below screen-depth will cause visual 'conflict' .
Initially, the default SPM Copyright logo is displayed and you may then Browse to the folder-location of your logo image.
If you choose to use a transparent logo, select 'Extract' and then the Color-Picker tool may be placed on the logo color that you wish to make transparent. The above image shows a transparent logo extracted from a white background
Instead of overlaying directly on the image, the logo may be placed on its own 'logo zone' . The height of the zone may be specified and its color chosen from 48 system colors or 16 custom colors.
The logo-image file-format may be jpg, bmp or TIFF.
The zone can also be appended to the outside of the image.
The preview image in the window may be toggled between 100% image-size or fitted to the window.
If you check the option 'Enlarge this Dialog for next time'the dialog will be displayed fullscreen next time it is used.
GIF or Icon (.ico) images may be converted to bmp using programs such as IrfanView.
If you choose 'All Files' for 'Files of Type' in the 'Open' dialog-box, then all files with any extension will be displayed .
If you have the Susie plugin installed for the selected filetype, it will be loaded and displayed.
Image filetypes may include Windows Metafile(wmf), Sun Rasterfile(ras,rs), PNG(png), PICT(pict,pct) and Targa(tga).
All of your current Logo settings may be retained as default settings by clicking 'Save Setting' and recalled at any time by clicking 'Restore Setting'.
